Meet Dr. Lauren Galipp, OT

Occupational Therapist

Dr. Lauren Galipp received her Bachelor of Science in Health from Texas A&M University in 2009. She knew then that she would go on to pursue Occupational Therapy but chose to stay home with her kids until they were school aged. During this time she owned a FIT4MOM franchise in the DFW area and served as a prenatal and postnatal fitness instructor. In 2020, she began OT school and graduated with her doctorate in 2023.

During OT school Lauren completed a capstone project entitled “The Fourth Trimester: Occupational Therapy’s Role in Postpartum Care” and launched a website and social media brand to spread awareness of the need for improved postpartum care. She has a passion for helping to ease the transition into motherhood with more education and less isolation/fragmented care. She is currently finishing coursework to obtain her Certified Breastfeeding Specialist certification, a step towards her IBCLC. She enjoys treating in both the pelvic floor and early childhood intervention settings to help provide more holistic care to mothers and babies following birth.

In her free time, she enjoys camping with her family, patio restaurants, yoga, Pilates, running, and spending time with her three dogs. She is married to her high school sweetheart, David, and they have three children (10, 8, and 6) who are part-time homeschooled in a university model school.
