Birth Prep Classes

• What is the pelvic floor & how does it relate to birth?
• Ways to prep for labor/birth during pregnancy
• Stages of labor
• We will practice hands-on techniques to utilize for pain management and baby positioning during labor/birth
• Basics to early postpartum recovery including pelvic floor recovery

• Knowledge of what to expect during labor.
• Practical comfort techniques and positions to help during labor/birth.
• A better understanding of your body and how it works during labor/birth.
• Knowledge of when to seek out help for your pelvic floor.
• Resources recommendations for pregnancy, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and more!

Anyone expecting that wants to be informed/empowered on their delivery choices, regardless of birth location/experience type

Ideally in the second trimester of your pregnancy, but can be in third!

• In person location → Fort Worth Genesis (710 S Main St Suite 140, Fort Worth, TX 76104) OR Dallas Genesis (2520 N Carroll Ave, Dallas, TX 75204)
• On-demand can be purchased any time and you will have 4 months of digital access to take the course

~2-3 hours (depending on live vs on-demand class)

All participants will get a PDF/E-book version the week of the class. You also have the option to purchase a printed out version that we will have ready for you during the in person class! (If you are a current Genesis PT & Wellness patient & you purchased the birth class through a package you automatically get an in person workbook)
