Meet Dr. Leneice, OTD, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist – Dallas & Home Visits

Dr. Leneice received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Sam Houston State University, Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Texas Woman’s University, and Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
After graduating OT school, she gained experience in various settings but started to grow an interest in women’s health and pelvic floor therapy after the birth of her first child in 2019. Her passion for improving black maternal health rates, healthcare equity, accessibility, and quality, have all led her to Genesis where she treats women and men with pelvic health dysfunction, general orthopedic issues, and chronic pain.
Dr. Leneice is a Certified Perinatal Health Specialist, with advanced training centered on improving maternal care outcomes and addressing disparities throughout pregnancy and the post-partum period. Her expertise includes pregnancy anatomy and physiology, high-risk pregnancy rehabilitation, immediate post-partum evaluation (24–48 hours), post-partum diagnoses and treatment, cesarean section recovery, OB critical care, and perinatal loss and maternal mental health.
She will also complete her Prenatal and Post-Partum Corrective Exercise Specialist certification by June 2026. In her clinical work, she integrates a variety of treatment approaches including joint and soft-tissue mobilization, manual myofascial release, dry needling, and cupping to support healing and provide lasting relief for her patients. Dr. Leneice is also part of the Genesis Birth Team and co-leads the birth class in Dallas with Dr. Ally!
When she’s not working, Dr. Leneice loves to spend time with her husband, Dane, and their four children, Langston, Joy, Josiah, and Levi. She also enjoys a good thriller Netflix binge, discovering new worship music, listening to podcasts, and taking Sunday naps after church.
