Anyone expecting that wants to be informed/empowered on their delivery choices, regardless of birth location/experience type.

How is this birth class different from hospital-based birth classes?

Hospital-based classes are primarily medical-model education, typically focusing on hospital procedures, stages of labor, interventions (like epidurals and C-sections), and what to expect during a hospital stay, often including facility tours. In contrast, the Genesis PT & Wellness class is more body-focused and holistic, emphasizing pelvic floor education, physical preparation for labor, hands-on positioning, and postpartum recovery from a rehab-informed perspective. While hospital classes aim to help patients understand and navigate the healthcare system, Genesis is designed to help individuals actively optimize how their body functions during birth and recovery, regardless of birth setting.

When should I attend?

Ideally in the second trimester of your pregnancy, but can be in third!

What is the difference between in person & on-demand classes?

– In person location → Fort Worth Genesis (710 S Main St Suite 140, Fort Worth, TX 76104) OR Dallas Genesis (2520 N Carroll Ave, Dallas, TX 75204)
– On-demand can be purchased any time and you will have 4 months of digital access to take the course

How long is the class?

~2-3 hours (depending on live vs on-demand class)

How do I get the written info in the workbook?

All participants will get a PDF/E-book version the week of the class. You also have the option to purchase a printed out version that we will have ready for you during the in person class! (If you are a current Genesis PT & Wellness patient & you purchased the birth class through a package you automatically get an in person workbook)

What to bring to class?

– A partner/spouse/support person

– We will provide beverages!
